Notification requests persist in Safari even after unchecking the "Allow websites to ask for permission to send notifications"

I am tired of having to click "No" re: whether or not I want Notifications when I navigate to a website

I unchecked the appropriate box in Safari preferences but yet, they appear every day

Is there any other way to stop these Notification requests from appearing?

Hey dskattorney!

Based on your post it appears you’re receiving website notifications using Safari, even though you have the “Allow websites to ask for permission to send push notifications” feature disabled in Safari Preferences. Is that correct?

Have you tried clearing your Safari history and restarting your Mac since disabling the feature?

Take a look: Clear your browsing history in Safari on Mac

If so, I would also recommend testing the issue in and out of safe mode on you Mac.

Should the issue continue, you can make sure you’re running the latest version of Safari by updating your version of macOS. Before doing so, please make sure you have a Time Machine backup created.

Update or reinstall Safari for your computer

Keep me updated on the results.

Cheers!
