App Store does not want to install the program!

In the App Store on the Mac, it writes an “unknown error” when entering the Apple ID and password.

I can sign into App store from other devices but not this one I cannot sign into the App Store. Keep getting error message "an unknown error occured". Using iMac 21.5 Catalina 10.15.6.
