Is it possible to "pull" the text from a Table in Pages v8 and make it into normal text in Pages?

You can triple click the text in a table cell until it is highlighted, press the option key, and then firmly click and drag that text out onto your document body. That is a copy operation and without the option key, it is a move operation where the text is actually removed from the table cell.

If you want to select text in multiple cells, you then copy those cells to the clipboard. Open a new Text box, click within it, and then paste. This will insert tab delimited text, as one cannot paste a table within a Text box. Pasting into the document body will recreated the same cells in a new table.
