I tried signing into my Apple ID from a new phone I bought but it says I need a verification code from a trusted device. I changed my number when I switched phones so I can get the verification code from my old number. How can I sign in?

See if anything here helps. If necessary, you can use account recovery as explained in the link at bottom of the article.
