My iPhone 6s won’t ring. I believe I have all the settings correct. I use the ‘alarm’ ring tone, so there’s no missing it if it does ring. It does vibrate on silent.

Have you checked the mute switch? It's the little slider just above the volume buttons.
Force restart iPhone - Apple Support ⬅︎ try this...
Also...Reset your Network Settings.
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
