Currency Converter

Hi,


im having issues converting USD to Rands on Numbers.

can someone please assist.

If the USD is the default currency, as determined by your region settings, then the formula below will work:


=CURRENCYCONVERT(1,”ZAR”)


Change the first argument (1) to a value of your choosing if you want to convert a different amount.


If the USD is NOT the default currency, you are going to need to set the first argument as a reference to a cell formatted as currency, using USD.


In this example below, the cell A1 contains the value $1, formatted for USD.



Columns B and C were just copy and pasted from the Wikipedia article for ISO 4217. As you can see, it’ll work for almost all currencies, including the R.
