How do I put numbers in currency format?

Numbers - cell format and exchange rates I have not been able to select the currency for New Zealand dollar when formatting the cell and choosing currency format. The currency is not available in the currency drop down list. Can this be made available via some settings ? And the currency exchange rate too ?

Click on the cell to select it.

Click on the Format brush to open theFormat Inspector.

Click the Cell label to open the Cell panel of the inspector.

Click Data Format and choose Currency.

Apply the appropriate Currency symbol and set the number of places you want after the decimal.
