Trade in

my mom gifted me a Apple Watch series 5 today but after a few hours of having it on I realized that it was small and I wanted to upgrade to the bigger size, the 44mm. Would that cost us more? How would we be able to trade it for a bigger size? It was ordered online and came today March 30, 2020. I reset the watch and place it back In the box with everything included. No damage.
