Invitations not showing in Mac Outlook

When a calendar invitation gets sent to my xxxxx@me.com email address and I accept, it does not show up on my iMac where I use Outlook for Mac. The default calendar in Outlook is a different email address. The invite will show on my iPhone and iPad which use the Apple mail app. How do I get those invites to enter into the Outlook calendar?

Calendar invites from Microsoft Outlook users do not show properly In Mail I receive invitations from civil servants using Outlook on their Windows desktop. It only says 'Mail attachment'. Some I can manually (control click) open with... Calendar File Handler and it shows up in Calendar where I can accept it. The others I can open with Mail itself and then an unread e-mail from a previous conversation (from others involved in getting the appointment) opens. This is a big mess. How to configure Mail in such a way that this all looks normal and I can open the Calendar proposal with one click? Yes, I will also try to let all the civil servants of the city migrate away from Microsoft office software but this requires a lot more actions and patience. Meanwhile, a fix on my side is more effective. Thank you for your understanding.

syncing an Exchange calendar with the Mac Calendar app I use Outlook for my email and the Apple Calendar app for my calendar and appointment. Since some people send me invitations through Outlook they end up on my Outlook calendar and I would like to sync the calendar with my Apple calendar. This seems to work nicely with the Calendar App on my iPhone, as I can see all the Exchange (Outlook) calendars on the phone app. However I tried to set it up so the Exchange calendars would sync with the Calendar app on my Mac and I get an error message "Calendar can’t refresh the account “Exchange”." I'm hoping someone can explain why these 2 different Apple devices are behaving differently and, hopefully, how to fix this. David

Please check with the Microsoft Office support folks, as Outlook is their app.
