Beats Headphones by Dre

Has anyone noticed the terrible quality of these headphones? I bought 2 pairs (studio 3) last September, and within 2 months the metal joint colour was peeling off (went from gold plating to silver underneath). I bought them for ~500$ and their quality is like a dollar store's necklace. Has anyone had this problem? Can apple fix this issue under warranty ? I know it's a minor issue but I don't think customers should deal with this if they pay 500$ 🥺

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

I've contacted Apple support for repair.

However, they refuse to help out because it's a "cosmetic fault": the headphone's colour started fading after a few months of use which is horrible. Paying such a large sum of money for headphone should guarantee high quality of the product- not only mechanical but cosmetic. Clearly, Apple is making low quality headphones and selling them for ~ $500 and that's my issue.

Now, I have to carry around headphones that look years old, when in fact they're barely 4 months.
