IPhoneSE 2020 wifi painfully slow??

I have the issue with WiFi range submitted since the middle of May. They do not want to confirm there is a problem. I even had my SE replace in the first three weeks I had it. Same problem with range, speeds, etc.

Hi, experiencing the same wifi/data connectivity issue. My previous SE worked perfectly despite being 3G. It was faster and never had this problem. SE2020 just loses connectivity for no reason and also does not recognise router in immediate range. Quite a disappointment!

I don't know that I've noticed slower rates on my wifi but there are definitely some problems. I upgraded from a 6 rather than 6s so there may be a difference there. I've noticed that the new SE fails to reconnect to my wireless earbuds and my sync system in my truck (this was not a problem with my 6) I have text messages and phone calls that won't come through at times and then will dump them to me later (again, not an issue that I had with my 6). I have apps that will open and then immediately close, generally if I fully close the app and restart them they open the second time fine. Finally, I find that there are times that it fails to recognize my fingerprint (though I can't be sure that this isn't due to the screen protector). I suspect there were some QC issues that were missed during the pandemic roll-out but since they don't seem to be getting better with service patches I suspect the issue is hardware based. I already gave my 6 away or I would certainly go back to it.

I've had this problem too. It sometimes drops my internet service. I found that the way to solve it was to go back to the last "page" or website, hit the Enter button to refresh it -- which re-activates internet service again and I'm back on-line! This may be an anomaly but it worked once at least.

Often slower on WiFi than 2-bars of Data.

Example: Trying to install the approx 150mb Enhanced Samantha Voice for text-to-speech took over 20mins.

Similarly, installing apps from the App Store just hangs.

This is irregardless of being on work or home WiFi.

I've noticed the spinning Network icon in the task bar is often going for no apparent reason as well.

I purchased it today, but i fail to see this issue. WiFi is too slow then my previous iPhone. If apple sort out this issues then it would be very much grateful to have a wonderful model which is compact and handy.

I purchased the new iPhone SE a month ago (black, 128 GB). For virtually the whole time I keep getting kicked off my own wi-fi network, and sometimes when I try to get back on it says it's too far away (even though it's only in the upstairs part of my house). I can't understand why this has been happening so much and none of the Apple updates since then have addressed it. I really hope this issue is resolved soon because it is driving me absolutely crazy.

I’m having the same issue and tried everything. I’m hoping it’s not some sly attempt on Apple and our phone providers part to use our LTE data instead. I prefer using my WiFi when I’m able too. Pretty strange it’s happening to a lot of us also. I hope my assumption is not right because that’s not cool if so...

I buyed the new SE 2020 a few days ago and i face the same problem.

When I get home it doesn’t connect to WiFi. When it connects then it’s losing signal. I hold my old iPhone 7 and my old SE in my other hand and they habe full signal on them. On the new SE only 2 and it’s dropping to 0 bars and it reconnects. Same in the office, so it’s not the router.

Should I get my money back? I have a few days left to decide if i send it back.

I’m on IOS 13.6 and this problem is NOT SOLVED! Any ideas?

I thinks it’s an operational issues. I exchanged SE with 11 pro the very next day in Apple store when I found it is a WiFi issue and can’t resolve by myself. 11pro is better I feel, the WiFi signals are very strong even my router located in next room. One thing We need to notice in both the phones are it’s WiFi spec is same.

I’ve tried everything and I am having the same problem over and over again. My ISP provides me with 100 Mbps speed but I can only get 1. When I reset my router I do get 70-80 Mbps speeds but it’s only for a brief amount of time. I frequently stream audio via Bluetooth and it is frustrating to use EarPods just to have acceptable reception on mobile data. The range is also pathetic, I cant connect anywhere other than the room the router is in. This situation is frustrating at best.

I have just updated to the latest version today, followed all of the advice about forgetting the network, and restarted the iPhone. Result - no better.

My iPhone 6 was much better but Apple forced me to change by not allowing the iPhone 6 to upgrade to IOS 13...., thus preventing the upgrade and installation of many apps.

I myself updated to 13.7 the other day...same problem, and I think it's only gotten worse. Sometimes I have to go back to settings to reconnect, but then the instant I switch to another app, it disconnects again.

This is super irritating. Why only us? It's like Apple is telling us to plunk down $1,000 for one of their latest phones or to get lost.

Tremendous Wifi issues in new iphone se 2020

i was using iphone 6 since last 6 years

was happy with that 

just a little slow but no other issues

i was not a fan of face id and phone with nodge so when i saw se 2020

i bought it

bt have tremendous wifi issues

my iphone 6 shows full wifi bars in my room

bt se 2020 only shows 1

poor wifi 

after surfing to all possible things as read in discussions of apple and youtube videos

nothing happened 

even waited for update 13.7

even updated but nothing changed

went to apple store they took the iphone after i tried to convince with my problem

they returned my device 3 days later telling the issue has been resolved 

but still the problem is there 

i am now so much frustrated that i want to sell my 20 days old phone 

i used my iphone 6 which i now use as secondary phone for 6 years bt this fone i cant handle it 

poor apple service and support 

really broke my heart
