Terrible battery drain on my 11 pro max

is anyone experiencing terrible battery drain on 11 pro max?

before with iOS 13.3.1 i was amazed and had a excellent battery life which could last up to 2 days now one full charge can’t last one full day. I’m losing 10% in only 30-40 min using WhatsApp, before I used to use my phone 1 hour and battery level dropped only 5-6% now it drops more than 15%

i hope apple fix this in the next update

It depends on the usage. How has your usage changed after iOS update.

Protect & Prolong life of your iPhone's Battery: About the battery usage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch ...

Try some of these options too.

  1. Avoid Screen Mirroring
  2. Put on Low Power Mode
  3. Put Auto Lock On (1 min):- with low power mode it will be 30 Sec
  4. Put Auto Answer Off
  5. Disable Push notifications for apps you do not use often
  6. Enable Auto Brightness:- Settings > General > Accessibility > Display Accommodations > Auto-Brightness [Enable]
  7. Manually lower brightness from Control Center
  8. If you Want to watch continuous Video. Stream it on TV or a Monitor
  9. Don't force close apps; Apps which are not on frontend screen are paused by the system to save energy. Apps require more energy to re-launch. Apps which are open in the background use large memory is a myth and quitting them is counterproductive
  10. Location services to be allowed only while using the app
  11. Set your iPhone to fetch email and calendar data from internet less frequently
  12. Turning off Background App Refresh
  13. Charge before it drops below 20-30%
  14. Try connecting to trusted Wifi where ever available in stead of Cellular
  15. Enable Airplane mode in areas with bad cellular and wifi coverage. Your phone keeps trying for reconnection with the missing / weak network. This uses lot of energy
  16. Switch off Wifi & Bluetooth while in Roaming or Not in Range
  17. Enable "Wifi Assist" : Settings > Cellular or Settings > Mobile Data > Wi-Fi Assist [Enable]
  18. Periodically Check your Battery Health (Settings > Battery > Battery Health)

Been having the same problems as well with my 11 pro max ever since I went to 13.4.1.. it’s makings this phone useless to me cause I rely on it for work. But It’s weird because my sisters 64gb pro max easily gets 10 hours screen on time but on my 256gb I’m lucky if I get 5 hours. So idk if it’s on select models or she’s just lucky. Hopefully 13.5 will fix this..

if you have updated your phone recently, i think you should wait some days

i’ve seen battery life improvement and i think it’s working normally as before but I’m still experiencing heating while mild usage and heating more while charging (i don’t use my phone while charging and remove my case)

don’t know if this is an ios issue or it’s a 1100$ phone problem...

I upgraded from an iPhone XR to an iPhone 11 pro a week ago and I’m so disappointed. The battery drains like crazy and the phone heats up for absolutely no reason.

this is ridiculous for a phone that cost me €1200.

My XR performed much better battery life wise.

It’s definitely a software issue because I returned the phone yesterday and got a brand new one that has the exact same problem. Battery draining so fast for no reason and heating up when I do anything minimal.

I’m so disappointed.

I have this problem too. The battery drains continuously all day to hit zero after about 12 hours of even low use. The phone is often warm to the touch all day. The battery usage monitor in settings seems to show random apps as using the most battery (including often Siri), but nothing improves when I delete those apps or turn off Siri, so I believe the battery usage reporting is incorrect.

The long list of options to protect battery life given in the official answer does nothing to address this problem. I have even fully restored the iPhone from iCloud backup and nothing seems to help. Apple, this really needs to be addressed as many, many people have been complaining about this for months.
