Is anyone having problems applying their screen protectors to the new iPhone SE 2020.
I consider myself an expert at applying screen protectors, having very little tolerance for air bubbles.
HOWEVER, today I’ve gone through four glass screen protectors, all failing to apply around the outer edge.
Apple quote that the SE is identical casing and screen to the iPhone 8, however I have now doubting this.
Looking for some answers.

I’ve had the very same issue using a no name cheap protector, a Belkin Screen Force, and finally a Spigen GLAStR.
All have the same halo around the edges.
It would be a huge coincidence indeed if three different brands all failed in an identical manner.
There must be a subtle difference in the edge bevel of the new screens.

Same problem for me as well. Tried 3 different brands and all 3 have left the unsticking halo around the edges of my phone. Frustrating.
Same here! I am crazy particular about the screen protectors and I’ve tried two different types.

Yes it’s fine. No halo effect.
Confirming Belkin screen protector on Apple’s site works.
I just give up trying glass protectors anymore, I guess plastic for now and wait for Apple store to open and see what they can do... @-@
I definitely understand. The Belkin one on the Apple site is working out well with no Halo effect.
Sir/Maam, I think not, because it affects one or more devices. Me myself also tried tempered glasses but it ended up the same way. Halo effect. iPhone SE 2020 is slight differ from iPhone 8 screen.

I’ve finally found a glass screen protector that fits without a halo!

I just ordered something from Amazon that claims no hallow . Let’s see if it works. But it was expensive
We need a sincere CEO for Apple to design a phone without the need to buy all these complicated items
Gorilla Tech tempered glass works perfectly with iPhone SE 2020, they have both full cover and normal glass that covers only flat area of the screen. I have used both and they are perfect.
I am also having the same issue with iPhone se 2020 applied 3 screen protectors all having air gap bubble on edges . Could someone please solution to this
