Restore from old backup - will it delete current contacts in iCloud?

My iPhone 6 died and I can't get a backup from it (tried everything include dfu). The last backup is from 2018. I do keep my contacts, messages, mail, etc. in iCloud. My question is, if I restore from this old backup to my new iPhone 11 will it overwrite or duplicate the contacts, messages, etc data in my iCloud account?

iCloud data is not in your backup. If the older backup was done with those things in iCloud, then you need not worry. Just log back into that iCloud ID and turn those things back on.
