Apple TV login

Having trouble logging in to Apple TV. When logging in on my Apple TV it says that it is unable to sign in due to the password or username being incorrect. After changing and checking the username and password I am still not able to log in on the apple tv, even though I am able to log in to my account on my phone and computer.
