Update to Catalina 10.15.4 corrupted system and disk

Hello everyone.

Unfortunately I’ve made an attempt to update to Catalina 10.15.4. After update I’ve been brought to Recovery mode and my Mac asked me to plug Magic Mouse and keyboard. Disk structure and amount of space on Macintosh HD and Macintosh HD - Data was ok. I’ve tried first aid option on both partitions but the process fails on every attempt, dialog box is talking about corrupted file structure in fusion drive (fusion data structure are invalid): “fusion_mid_tree: btn: invalid o_cksum”

I cannot override first aid from terminal. I’ve tried to reinstall system twice, but no effect. Every time I’ve finished on recovery mode.

I’ve tried to reset NVRAM and PRAM - no effect. Cannot start “safe mode” - there is icon of folder with question mark.

Apple diagnostic utility says that everything is alright.

Finally I’ve tried to do Time Machine recovery from backup - still nothing. Time Machine finishes itself and I’m still going back to recovery mode.

Any clue? Guys please help - I got stuck :(. This Mac is my main working machine. We are in the middle of COVID quarantine and tomorrow I have to work...

Boot into Internet Recovery (Command R) and from the dropdown menu: Utilities>  Disk Utility> run the First Aid on your Macintosh HD (and the "Macintosh HD-Data" volume as well if Catalina) If errors are found and repaired, run again until no errors reported.

If necessary erase/reformat/initilize the parent drive and reinstall the macOS, restore your user data from backup

DiskUtility>View>Show All Devices— you are erasing on the Disk Level, not the Container or child volume level

Thx for the replay but please read more carefully. I’ve done everything that you wrote earlier. Nothing from that list is working for me. FirstAid is stucked on “invalid fusion data structures”, “fusion_mid_tree: btn: invalid o_cksum”.

My main disk cannot be erased (from disk level, Fusion Drive can’t be erased per se; I can erase container or specific volume, but that does not working).

Reinstall of MacOs don’t work - after installing system from scratch I’m back on recovery window. Dead end.

Apple - this is an absurd that system update can lead to that situation. I cannot work ...
