My appletv doesn't come up on my tv and if it does it's stuck on screen with apps and then after a while goes to screen saver remote won't allow to change or do anything

Could it be that your Apple TV being stuck on a screen is due to the remote not working? If your Apple TV remote isn’t working - Apple Support
