Hello carolruth41,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that Safari is missing on your iPhone. I can see how this could be concerning. I'm happy to help.

It's possible the app was moved to a different screen or a folder on your Home screen. Use Search to help locate Safari.

Use Search on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If Safari is still missing, there could be a restriction preventing access. When a built-in app is restricted, the app will be hidden from the Home screen. Use the steps in the following resource to check your restrictions:

Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

If you're still unable to locate Safari, reset the Home Screen Layout in Settings >General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. This returns built-in apps to their original layout on the Home screen.

Let us know the results. Please include any other troubleshooting steps that you may have tried.

Have a nice day!
