what to do if itunes isnt responding

Whenever I open my iTunes store it asks me to open it in iTunes U app and when I click on that nothing happens. What should I do?

Which device are using when trying to open the iTunes Store? Do you have another device with the iTunes Store? If so, are you able to open the iTunes Store on that device?
