Music not playing through bluetooth speaker

I have connected my JBL flip 4 bluetooth speaker to my MacBook Pro but the music wouldn't play through the speaker. Any help? Thanks

Bluetooth issue with Apple Music - Imac I updated to Catalina and i'm having an issue with my bluetooth speakers on my imac. backbeat pro 2 bluetooth I pair my my macbook with Backbeat pro 2, can see the pair in Bluetooth, and when I hit the play button on backbeat pro I can hear the music for a short second and then it stops. If I plug the hardwired connection to the mac and backbeat pro it works perfectly. What am I doing wrong with Bluetooth? Thanks for helping an old dummy! Guy

I had the same problem. Hard reset of JBL was helpful.
