I am unable to conntect my Bose wireless headphones to my mac book pro

Does anyone have any fixes for a blue tooth connection issue. I have previously had my Bose wireless headphones connected to my Mac for music / calls etc. The Headphones now won't connect to why Mac, nor can I disconnect / forget the device to reinstall.

I've tried it with a couple of pairs of bluetooth headphones and the issue seems to be with my Mac and its bluetooth connectivity rather than the headphones.
