Linked contacts

Good morning, I went to my contacts, clicked on my daughter’s contact info and scrolled down to location However it keeps saying locating but it doesn’t ever locate. My daughters shared location is on yet I cannot see her location. I scrolled down to link to Contacts and found that there are two emails. One has my company email no clue how that got on there and another email which is her iCloud. What are these “linked contacts” mean?

Hello jefferson230,

After reviewing your post, it sounds like you want to know what linked contacts are. I would recommend you use this article for more information.

"If you use multiple accounts in Contacts, you may see more than one card for a contact—for example, one card from Exchange and one from Google. When this happens, you can link the cards. Contacts retains the cards in each account, but shows just one card with the combined information."

"If you remove an account that contains linked cards, the cards are unlinked and only the cards in that account are removed."
