I am having issues sorting my smart playlist on my iPhone. I make the changes of how I want playlist to be viewed and sorted from MacBook but it doesn't reflect on iPhone. Was there ever a resolution to this problem? Cant seem to get the changes to appear on my phone very frustrating.

What problem are you referring to? What changes to appear on your iPhone? You need to provide some description. Unfortunately, we are not mind readers.
Whoops sorry thought I posted in a thread.

Yes I have I also just updated Mac and iPhone to newest iOS didn't work at first toggled Live update off then synced and worked turned it back on and re synced hopefully live update works thanks so much.
Definitely is a glitch of some sort because I have to go into each smart playlist and turn off Live updating then I see the Album Art Picture next to Playlist name change and then I can sync and see it change on phone not sure if I have to keep live updating off for new music to sort correctly in playlist.
I'm sorry, I cannot really address issues with syncing to the MacBook. I'm very new to the MacBook, so you may need to wait to see if someone else familiar with them posts, or start a new thread in the MacBook or iTunes forum for help.
Okay, editing your original post helped. If you are making this change on the MacBook, have you then synced to the iPhone?
Ok so I thought I resolved the issue but it seemed to only work on 2 playlist Im not sure what steps to make it take the change driving me nuts.
