About Macbook Pro 16 inch (2019) scaled resolution.

Hi everyone,

I have a question on my macbook's scaled resolution with internet browsers.

My display's resolution is 3072x1920. In 'System Preferences - Displays' I have changed the default setting to 'More Space'.

I assume this makes viewing at 100% and there's no magnification applied, taking full advantage of the display's resolution. However, when viewing content on any browser (Firefox, Safari & Chrome) things look scaled (bigger) and indeed when I check my resolution on http://whatismyscreenresolution.net/ it says 2048x1280.

Can someone please tell me how to make my browser recognize my resolution as 3072x1920?

Many thanks.

Hmmm....Choose default for display(?)

-------------------------------------------------------

Browsers can be put into Full Screen mode(?)

Use apps in full screen on Mac - Apple Support

Also—

Any browser responds to increase or decreasing the Window magnification(?):

Command 0 returns to default

Command - smaller

Command = larger
