Phone doesn’t always ring

My phone doesn’t always ring when I get a call from an unfamiliar number. Not just spam calls, but calls I’m expecting from a new source. I can watch the call coming in, and phone doesn’t ring! This is more than annoying because my husband has medical problems and I am the contact person. I get voicemail.

My Do Not Disturb is Off. My ringer is On. Help!!
