Beats-X Disconnecting

I have a set of Beats X headphones that started disconnecting from my iPhone all the time. They’re only like 6 months old but I bought a new set anyway. The new ones do the same thing. I have two iPhones (1 personal and 1 for work) and they do it to both phones too. When I turn them on I get a pop up on my screen that says they’re there but there is no way to actually connect to them until I open the Bluetooth menu and manually connect them. Then 5 minutes later in the middle of a phone call or podcast I’ll just get the jingle noise in my ears and just like that they’re disconnected. I go back in and connect them manually and they come right back. Do that every 10 minutes or so, drives me mental. Apple / Beats just say to repair them, reset them... blah blah. I have two phones (XSMAX & 8+) and both fail exactly as often in exactly the same way with 2 pairs of beats (1 set brand new and 1 set 6 months old) it happens when I’m at home, in the car, running, at my in-laws... so it’s not “interference” as I’ve seen others say, especially as I leave my work phone at home on the weekends. I have iOS updated on both devices as of 5/6/2020... help!!
