Help regarding Macbook Air
My laptop will not turn on [somewhat] it just shows up a folder with a question mark on it. What can I do?

A folder with a flashing question mark:
"Means that your startup disk is no longer available - or doesn't contain a
working Mac operating system. Press and hold the power button on your
Mac for up to 10 seconds, until your Mac turns off." ~ Further steps apply.

You have a failing hard drive, and it’s too late to recover your files.
If this is, you can have a HD installed by Apple. (After this pandemic), or you can order one yourself and hand-install it.

There may not be a Operating System (OS) on the drive either. I also may not be able to find the host folder.
