can i use this account from other apple devices, in specificly an ipod?

an apple iPod touch 5th gen was sold to me by another with their apple account still active, id like to know on how to remove that account\s from the device so that i can put my account on the device. how can i do this?

You cannot. The person who sold it to you would have to as it requires knowing the AppleID and the password for that AppleID. If the seller doesn’t know or won’t help you, odds are they sold you a stolen device.


If they simply cannot remember their AppleID password they can recover it from -> If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support


They can remove their account in the device from their iCloud web site -> Turn off Activation Lock - Apple Support
