Screen malfunction

My Apple TV screen is split vertically down the middle with the image replicated on both sides. I tried restarting the Apple TV, nothing changed. It turned on like this. Any ideas on how to help?

Unplug the device for about 5 minutes and then retry.

Tell your TV that the Apple TV input signal is not a 3D side-by-side signal.

Unplug the power cord from the back of the Apple TV.

Unplug from the tv? The tv is now showing a green screen

That did not work. It is back to the split screen
