New IPhone 7

Hi,

I am wondering my husband and I got new IPhone 7 and when my daughter tried to set them up she used the same apple ID for both phones cause we only have the one email address now all my husbands contacts are in my contact list with some of my own. Is there a way to use the same Apple ID but not have the same things on the phone?

I think we fixed the texting problem where I would send a message and his phone would get the response.

Thank you,

Nicki

You need to set up separate Apple IDs. You can create a new, free email address from many places, Gmail is one, Yahoo, etc. Otherwise, you will keep sharing these things.
