Hey, I just deleted all the sources of the apple dictionary by accident and didn't back them up. Now when I open the dictionary literally nothing happens, just the app is shown to be open on the task bar. I'D appreciate any help, because I use the app on a daily basis. Thanks :)

You could try running the Catalina Combo installer and hope it replaces the missing files.

Otherwise you need to reinstall Catalina.
You might have a local snapshot. They are created automatically. See About Time Machine local snapshots - Apple Support
So if you enter Time Machine while in the folder of the files you deleted, they might show up in your Time Machine timeline.
You can check local snapshots from the command line too with this command:
tmutil listlocalsnapshots /

Yes. Of course in this case the user seems to be aware of Time Machine enough to feel they weren't backed up. But you could be right.
