I bought an iPhone for my friend. However, I have wait 2 months to go back home and then give this iPhone to him. How will the warranty calculate if he activate the iPhone later than purchased date?

Hopefully you did not purchase this iPhone outside the country where it will be used. (The EU is considered one country for this.)
If you purchased the iPhone outside its country of use, there will be no warranty (except in the country of purchase).
I bought this in USA.
And is it going to be used in the USA? (Does your friend live in the USA?)
