I have an old Apple TV. I received one year free apple when purchasing a new iPhone. I can’t AirPlay content from Apple TV to my tv using my Apple TV.
I can’t play Apple TV+ content using AirPlay through my 2nd generation Apple TV.

Apple TV Plus is not available for the 2nd gen and is not supported via airplay to that model. It is classified as obsolete and no longer supported, with many existing providers also dropping support.
