Gatekeeper Error

Wondering why my third party software is being blocked by the OS. See attachment for error screenshot. It only started doing this on Catalina (first version that shipped with my current machine) and the software no longer works even though I know it is a legitimate software that I intentionally installed. It has been an issue on all updates to Catalina since the first one including the update to the most recent version I installed this week.

MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) with 2.4 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9, macOS 10.15.4, 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB

GateKeeper error?

You can Control click to open and bypass Gate keeper without changing >Preferences>Security & Privacy>General.

Control-click the app in Finder, choose Open from the menu, and then click Open in the dialog that appears. Enter your admin name and password to open the app.

The EtreCheck report mentions you have some 32bit apps. Catalina does not support running 32bit apps. Is the app you are trying to run 64bit? If it is 64bit, then is the app compatible with Catalina?

I don't see anything with the software that is installed, but I'm not a Mac software expert. Perhaps @leroydouglas or another contributor will notice something.

Are you running any anti-virus, third party security or cleaning apps that may be interfering? Run EtreCheck and post the report here using the "Additional Text" icon which looks like a piece of paper.

FYI, I have encountered a Gatekeeper issue with one or two of our organization's Macs. I don't know if it was a bug with them being managed or if it was some bug with macOS, but I had to reinstall macOS to fix the issue. I tried to delete GateKeeper preference files and use the command line utility to gather more information, but I was unable to find where the problem was located.

Tried this a few more times with no luck. Then tried relaunching Finder thinking that may help. No luck. Tried "open with-ing" and opening several more times after the relaunch and still no luck.

That's a pretty solid security "feature" seeing as I can't seem to get past it :/

So you followed the HT as posted: Safely open apps on your Mac - Apple Support

and went into Preferences and no lucK?
