Finder integrations not working for OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox

Since updating my Mid-2010 MPB from El Capitan to High Sierra, I no longer have status icons on the files in any of my cloud services in the Finder. OneDrive, Google Drive, and Dropbox folders all appear just as any other folder. There's no green checks to show sync status, etc.

My other Finder integrations are working fine.

The one other anomaly is that all mounted drives are showing up as just round circles in Sidebar, not as their icons. That was also happening before my update to 10.13.

I know I could uninstall and reinstall them all, but since it's all of them I can't imagine all of them are having the exact same problem. Also, I don't want to have to re-download all that data — and I know that at least two of those services delete all the files if the app is uninstalled.

Thoughts?

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

Are you using any VPN or Anti-Virus Apps?

Hi BDAqua,

The problem was actually worse in Safe Mode — not only were the status overlays (e.g., green checks) not present, but even the Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive icons were missing from the Finder's sidebar (screenshot below, with personal info edited out). Curiouser, after rebooting again, Google Drive and Dropbox status overlays returned, but OneDrive did not (although only some items in Google Drive were green-checked, even though they are synced, but that seems like a problem for Google's forums).

Another oddity I just thought was worth mentioning: In Safe Mode, the computer behaved strangely. Graphics rendered very slowly — like when I opened a Finder window, I could watch it render, almost literally horizontal line by horizontal line (it took about 6-8 seconds for the window to be drawn). And something was...off...about the colors on the screen. Everything looked every-so-slightly rasterized and washed out.

FWIW, accelerated graaphics are disabled in Safe Mode so they would be slower.

Roger that, but line-by-line rendering? Anyway, not germane to the problem at hand. Just thought it was worth mentioning in the context of having followed the Safe Boot advice.
