Hi. I am trying to drag and drop an image into my mail signature. I have opened the image I want in preview and adjusted the size appropriately. However, when I hold down the trackpad to "grab" the image and drag it to the signature I'm creating (in Mail/Preferences), it activates the crop feature instead. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.

Highlite your image, but don't open it— to drag and drop

hmm..
Here two images are sitting on the Desktop, one has been highlighted (selected) the other has not.
