WhatsApp Calls Stopped syncing to iwatch

When I first got my iwatch series 5, I was able to receive calls from WhatsApp. I must have pressed something that stopped those calls coming thru. I do, however get notifications of the missed call.

i receive regular incoming calls with no problems. I have checked that the settings are mirrored to my iPhone. I’ve checked settings in WhatsApp are set to give notifications and sounds etc.

ive gone so far as to unpair the device with my phone to try to solve the issue but it hasn’t worked.

I really need to get this issue fixed. Any ideas?

Good morning Sami_Smurf!

I understand you're having some trouble with the WhatsApp app on your Apple Watch Series 5 because you are no longer receiving calls on it.

Take a look at these steps here and test after each step. While the title of the article is for a different issue, it'll still be helpful in your case: If an app unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open. If you're still having trouble, you'll want to reach out to WhatsApp: Contact WhatsApp.

Have a great day.
