Reset

If I reset the phone and erase all content and settings, will all of the photos and files also deleted on my icloud account or just on that particular phone?

When you delete data or reset your device, it’s no longer accessible through the iPhone interface, but it isn’t erased from iPhone storage or your iCloud account. When iPhone restarts with all content and settings erased, you have the option to set up iPhone as new or restore it from a backup.
