On my iPad i am not given the choice after new keyboard to scroll down to EMOJI. There is no EMOJI option. I used to have emojis but they disappeared. Please help. Thanks

Try adding a Spanish keyboard to your list in settings > general > keyboard > keyboards. So then you list should have English, Emoji, Spanish, right? Then when you bring up your keyboard to type something, don't you see a globe key to the left of the space key?
What is on your list at settings > general > keyboard > keyboards?

If you see Emoji on that list, then you just hold down the Globe key and choose Emoji.
Yes. Exactly as you wrote. Then I have no emoji to choose. When I looked I had a check mark on QWERTY which was cone of three qwerty
like choices.

looks like i will have to wait until the Apple Store opens again .... or I can call them and go from there. this is just so annoying. thank you for doing your best. something is missing from my "list" or I just don't see what I am looking for.
