Lock screen frozen after alarms

I have recently been waking up to my alarm in the mornings and after stopping the alarm my screen remains looking like the screenshot below. I can functionally use both the snooze and stop buttons but I cannot actually do anything else(pull down the top menu, open the unlocked screen to home view, etc.). The screen remains in this unusable form for a few minutes up to half an hour at one point. I haven’t seen a clear way to make this stop i just keep messing around with it to make it stop. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
