Shortcuts Result in Unwanted Siri Verbosity

I've recently purchased a HomePod in an effort to get out of Amazon's Echo ecosystem. I use it primarily for voice control over my Home Assistant home automation. I'm trying to build a series of Shortcuts so that Siri can issue commands to the home automation, but I've run into a minor issue...

If I create a shortcut through the Shortcuts app and have it toggle an item in Home.app, Siri will happily toggle it and say "That's done". But if I have the shortcut fire an event in Home Assistant.app (the action is: Call hue.hue_activate_scene with data {"group_name":"Living room","scene_name":"Outdoor"} ), Siri will complete the action as expected and the lights do indeed change to the Outdoor scene, but then Siri says out loud "That's done. Home Assistant says called hue hue activate scene". If I do this through Siri on my phone rather than the HomePod, I get the same result, but the text is also displayed on the screen. I don't need Siri to tell me how Home Assistant replied (the lights tell me that), and I'd really like to be able to just have it say "OK" or "That's done" and stop talking at that point.

I've cross-posted this with the support board for Home Assistant, but haven't heard anything back there yet. Anyone here know if there's a way to have Siri truncate its responses in the manner I described? I didn't see anything in Settings, but if there's something I'm missing or another action I can add in the shortcut that would stop the response, that would be great. Thanks much!
