hi, my onscreen Keyboard has just displayed wrong, it’s been fine but now the button next to the space bar has started to Display in chinese, I’m new to this Keyboard so not really understanding the functions, could you help please? Thanks ann

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
Then try choosina new KB type...

When you type on your keyboard, you don't have any problems, right?
When you type with the screen keyboard, do you also get the right letters and numbers on the screen (ignoring those two special keys)?

Keyboard Viewer thinks your keyboard is Japanese. Again, what language keyboard do you have on your iMac?
Does the printing on your keyboard match what is produced on the screen when you type?

yes i am getting no problem typing, it’s just that it was fine yesterday and when i put computer on today the keys was like that.
