Guys & Girls,
Since I've updated to Catalina my iPhone will not sync with my iMac. I.e. When I delete an eMail on the iMac it remains on the iPhone. I end up with hundreds of eMails that I must delete manually. It works the other way around, however. Deleting on the iPhone deletes on the iMac.
Any ideas?

iphones do not sync emails with iMacs.
Both devices sync with and through your email provider's web servers.
You need to work out why your iMac is not deleting emails on the web server, OR if it is, then why is it not syncing the deletions onto the iphone.
You will not know which of those is the problem unless you sign into your email servers in Safari on the iMac (or any other computer) and observe what is happening there.

Just looking at your scenario which I believe is...
Delete an email with Mac but it is not deleted on iphone.
Until you observe if the emails are deleted on the web server you don't even know if it is the Mac or the phone.

"OR if it is, then why is the web server not syncing the deletions with the iphone"
You are probably right, Peter. All I can say is that it worked correctly with Mojave. I was hoping it was a setting in the preferences that got confused on upgrading.
