I have an iPhone 11 that I want to use as a webcam for my MacBook Pro. I am open to hardwiring the phone to the computer but do not want to use a special app. Is there a way to make this happen?

Just from a privacy standpoint I don't think that this is possible.
Does your MacBook Pro not have a camera?
The MacBook Pro does have a camera. It faces forward. I want the ability to face the camera in any direction.
