Screen time and contact management

I have screen time enabled and attempting to manage my daughters contacts on her iPhone 11. I make modifications to the contact list but the contacts I add do not show up on her phone. I’m not sure where to go at this point. I’ve followed the directions but it is not working.

Screen time downtime contacts i have only specific contacts allowed on my daughter’s phone during downtime but the setting keeps automatically reverting to everyone allowed after downtime. I changed the setting back to specific contacts and within a couple minutes it changed back to everyone.

Screen time Why doesn’t screen time work? I set limits and my kids are allowed to ignore them. How is this helpful? I change communication limits to specific contacts during downtime and it doesn’t work. I saw a post that iCloud contacts must be on, kids can access that and turn it off. Apple offers no tracking of message content, no tracking of searches. Apple screen time doesn’t actually give parents any control and your op system interferes with other parental control apps. makes me think I should switch

What directions did you follow?

Settings>ScreenTime>Content&Privacy Restrictions>Contacts.... ALLOWED ?

When done, restart the iPhone.
