NSSQLiteErrorDomain error 1.1

When I boot to Catalina, I get the following two windows:

The operation could't be completed (NSSQLiteErrorDomain error 1.1)”.

Failed to initialize the store.

Booting to safe mode doesn't give them. I have no idea what app causes this.

I just got done futzing with my Mac when Finder kept getting locked:

  1. I ran Disk Repair (it didn't work).
  2. I booted to Mojave and went to the folders that were getting stuck, and moved the files I wanted to move.
  3. I booted to Catalina, saw those messages (pressed OK), tested Finder, and my apps.
  4. I rebooted to Safe Mode, everything still works OK.
  5. I rebooted, those messages are back.

I don't have a clue what app is giving those error messages.

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, howardfromlafayette.

If I understand your post correctly, you see two error messages when starting up with macOS Catalina but they do not appear in safe mode. I'd like to help.

Since everything is working correctly in safe mode, but is not working when you get back to your user account, please check the section titled "If an issue doesn't happen in safe mode" for the next troubleshooting steps.

How to use safe mode on your Mac
