ExtraDevice malware

Here's a screenshot of a portion of my Applications folder:


These are all applications I've never installed or ever heard of. However, they open at random intervals on my Mac. I have tried deleting all of them that I see. They just come back with different names (always two words in the same format). So I'm assuming that there is some application or script on my machine that is installing all of this malware. So what should I do about this? How do I fix it?

You've installed adware.


Try using MalwareBytes for Mac. It can find and remove most of this type of junk. It's free to use and easily removed with the uninstall option in its menus when you're done with it.
