Automatically aligning the bottom of two tables in numbers

Is there a way to have the bottom row of two tables in a numbers document automatically stay alligned? I have two tables side-by-side and as I increase the number of rows on the first one I want the second one to automatically drop down to stay aligned. I do not want it to increase the number of rows automatically I just want the second one to stay aligned with the bottom of the first one. Thank you.

Hi JRB,

No.

You can realign the two tables via a menu choice—Arrange > align objects > bottom

as shown in this series of screen shots:

Start positions:

Four rows added to left table:

Both tables selected, Arrange menu opened and highlighted choice selected:

Selection confirmed with a click on "Bottom"

(Takes far less time to do than to describe!)

Barry
