Apple ID conflict

I changed my appleId which has been recognised on iTunes but my previous ID still shows in settings and I can’t change it as it asks for the old password (Linked to the old ID)- I’m totally stumped!!

What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support.      


Enter the Apple (iCloud) ID and click Forgot Password.
