IOS 13 and Honda Hands Free Link

I have an iPhone 8+ running the latest iOS - 13.4.1. Ever since iOS 13 came out in October, 2019, I have been having issues with my phone and my 2016 Honda Pilot. The phone connects via Bluetooth and I can play my phone audio through the car radio via Bluetooth with no issues. But, I cannot receive phone calls through my radio. The radio does not pick up the call and I cannot transfer the call from my phone to the radio.

I have gone to Honda several times about this. Today, I was told that this is an issue on Apple's side, and it has something to do with the iOS and compatibility with Honda's hands free link software.

Can someone please advise as to when a fix will come out for the iPhone to fix this issue? My wife has an iPhone X running the same iOS version and has the same problem, so it's not specific to my phone.
